It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
I am a documentary filmmaker specializing in vérité cinematography. I received my MFA in Social Documentary from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2018. My first film, THE BOXERS OF BRULE, garnered nominations and awards at festivals internationally and is available for streaming through Vice World News.
I love being behind the camera, collaborating with the folks on the other side of the lens to tell their story, and teaching workshops to build capacity of other photographers + filmmakers looking to do the same. I co-created a filmmaking workshop for activists in Myanmar called EarthRights Exposures, and partnered with Jeremy Dennis and 100Cameras to teach photography workshops with Native youth nationally and in Shinnecock Nation.
I split my time between Austin + New York City.
